Ryan is a former firefighter, EMT, and an educator with nearly ten years of hands-on experience. In addition to numerous other positions, Ryan has worked at the Pasadena Fire Department and the United States Forest Services, as a senior firefighter and lead EMT. He is currently the EMT Program Director and professor at El Camino Community College, where he oversees, directs, and coordinates the day-to-day functions of the EMT program.

Students are allowed one make-up class per series. You may speak directly with the instructor to arrange attendance in another class during the same series dates. Class sizes are limited, so arrangements must be made with your instructor ahead of time. In addition, there will be mixed-age weekend make-up classes added to the end of each series which you can attend.
